Zalgiris Kaunas won against Khimki Moscow 95:94 (Jan. 12, 2012). Sonny Weems took matters into his own hands down the stretch, exploding for the go-ahead dunk in the dying seconds of the VTB League game against Khimki to give Zalgiris a 95-94 lead.
The hero of the night, Weems led Zalgiris in scoring with 25 points, Marko Popovic had 19, while Mantas Kalnietis finished with 14 points. Thomas Kelati had a game-high 31 point for Khimki, Planinic scored 14 while Matt Nielsen and Sergei Monya had 13 points each.
